Holy hell y'all, it's been a while. Seriously, we've got like 30,000 post topics back logged, half of which all of you have already forgotten about, (remember that hurricane in Puerto Rico where President Loud Stupid threw some paper towels and said mission accomplished? We know you don't, but really we had a brilliantly researched post about the Johnson Act and how it was fucking up the recovery efforts but then we were buried by this thing then the OTHER thing and then OMFUCKING GOD can you believe that happened, and then we took a mental health break consisting of tequila and dog snorgles and then there you are, suddenly there are kid concentration camps and brown people concentration camps and we cried and went to the doctor for regulated medication instead of taxing our livers with even moar wine.... ha ha ha who are we kidding......) ANYWAY, here's Wonderwall...

But speaking of regulated medication......
West Virginia is one of a handful of states that fully believes in herd immunity and protecting children from easily preventable diseases. (Just like they USED to believe in the power of unions to lift up workers.... but then ... cough cough, a black dude was elected president and racisms turned a reliably blue state red cause that black dude ran on the blue team and old white WVians won't cotton to a black folk gettin' above their station.....but we digress here) Welcome WV Delegate Chanda Adkins firm believer, er, non-believer in keeping kids from catching polio, measles, whooping cough.... what have ya. She's even made herself the queen/director of West Virginians for Health Freedom and done got herself 'lected to the House of Delegates so that she can make sure that WV's children can know the joys of the iron lung, the delightfulness of living with preventable brain damage, and the lovely character building struggle of trying to breathe your way through whooping cough. Why I'm sure she'd also like to bring back the disfigurement of small pox, a disease that we managed to eradicate THROUGH VACCINATION. She's making it her mission to ensure that kids in child care and prek DON'T have to get the recommended vaccinations prior to entry into those voluntary services. There's already an out for parents who don't want to vaccinate their kids - don't enroll in the service. Kids for whom immunizations are contraindicated are ALREADY exempt from the requirement per WV state code. However, this lady thinks that there just haven't been enough measles outbreaks in the state, and wants to drop the requirement. Why does this lady want kids to suffer? I dunno, Republican Jesus is weird, I guess, and his demands for tribute of human misery are fathomless and inscrutable.
Our very favorite thing about Ms. I-luv-dead-kids Chanda Adkins is that she states she has a pharmacy degree from WVU. But hey - we already know they'll give a degree to anyone - whether they've done the course work or not.. sooooooo
See you in another 100 years!
